Our main goal is to raise the profile of quality literature from South Asia in German-speaking countries. To this end we organise conferences, support direct translations from the region's languages, invite authors, and — together with publishers and other partners — arrange readings.
We finance all of this within our means from membership fees and donations. If you find our activities worthwhile, the following options are available to you:
The most direct form of support is a bank transfer. Donations to Literaturforum Indien e.V. are tax-deductible in Germany. A donation receipt is issued at the beginning of the following year, or immediately on request.

In addition to direct donations, you can also support us through your online shopping. The portal "WeCanHelp" redirects you to the websites of well-known retailers where you shop as usual. We particularly value your involvement in Literaturforum Indien events.
